Learn Hard, Play Hard

Together with our friends at Telaga, we had the pleasure of hosting a special workshop at Paud As Shifa, a kindergarten in Indonesia where we recently helped renovate and decorate the school.

We introduced Okay Bears as playful characters who love helping each other — setting the stage for a morning filled with creativity, imagination, and fun. Our illustrator, Inggar, brought storytime to life with a tale about a bear who lost his hat. The children were captivated, and the story sparked conversations about teamwork, kindness, and looking out for one another.

Afterward, the kids got the chance to draw their own bears doing their favorite activities. The room came alive during a cheerful show-and-tell, where each child proudly shared their artwork.

And of course, nothing beats the moment their faces lit up as they opened goodie bags packed with drawing kits — sketchbooks, colored pencils, watercolor paints, erasers, sharpeners, and stickers.

It was a day of joy, learning, and connection — showing once again how powerful it can be when playful ideas meet meaningful support.
